Nanette Navedo, LMT, LE, MMP, MLD-C, CES, CPST
With over 25 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, I specialize in rehabilitative medical and sports manual therapy with a strong focus on fascial release and corrective therapy. My work is rooted in understanding structural dysfunction and restoring mobility, balance, and function through targeted, results-driven treatment.
I am also a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (MLD-C) and a Certified Post-Op Specialist (CPST), allowing me to support clients through surgical recovery, swelling management, and post-operative healing with safe, evidence-informed care. My approach blends advanced clinical techniques with individualized assessment to address both acute and chronic conditions.
My career began in a prestigious spa environment, where I had the opportunity to work with celebrities and high-profile clients. That experience, combined with extensive travel across the country and abroad, broadened my perspective on the human body and deepened my therapeutic approach. Today, based in Middle Georgia, I remain committed to helping clients achieve lasting relief and improved quality of life.
I am passionate about continuing education and hands-on problem solving, constantly expanding my skill set to better serve my clients. I especially enjoy working with individuals experiencing musculoskeletal pain, restricted mobility, and postural imbalances, as well as those recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy baking cakes for family and friends—my creative outlet and a sweet balance to my hands-on clinical work.
My work targets fascial restrictions, soft tissue dysfunction, and movement limitations to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore more efficient function in the body.
This includes addressing muscle tension patterns, structural imbalances, restricted range of motion, and movement compensations associated with chronic or acute musculoskeletal conditions, injury recovery, and post-surgical tightness.
If you are dealing with musculoskeletal pain, mobility issues, injury recovery, or post-surgical support, you are in the right place. Sessions are designed for individuals experiencing pain, stiffness, postural stress, or functional movement limitations.
Corrective bodywork is not intended as a one-time fix, but a progressive approach that works over time, with results building through consistency.
Each session is tailored to your needs and focused on improving how the body moves, reducing physical restrictions, and supporting long-term functional improvement.
This is clinical corrective bodywork, not spa massage, designed to support recovery, performance, and long-term physical well-being.

Move and Function, LLC, specializes in providing tailored rehabilitative care to help you regain movement, ease pain, and improve overall function. One of Move and Function recent success stories is a client who had been unable to move his arm for six months due to an injury. After trying numerous other treatments without success, he came to see Medical and Sports manual therapist Nanette for help.
Through a personalized approach, which combines advanced techniques such as sports therapy and manual therapy, she was able to restore mobility and function to his arm in just one session. This is a testament to the power of Move and Function holistic treatments, designed to target the root causes of pain and immobility, not just the symptoms.

Move and Function, LLC integrates Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) to help clients recover from soft tissue injuries, chronic pain, and improve mobility. This innovative therapy uses specially designed instruments to gently massage and mobilize scar tissue, promoting healing, enhancing range of motion, and decreasing pain. It's particularly effective for conditions such as tendonitis, IT band syndrome, muscle strains, and other sports-related injuries, supporting recovery and improving overall function.

Cupping therapy is a powerful, time-tested technique that promotes healing, reduces muscle tension, and accelerates recovery. Move and Function, LLC, uses cupping as part of our comprehensive sports therapy approach to help clients release deep-rooted tension, increase circulation, and reduce pain and inflammation. The gentle suction created by the cups lifts and loosens the fascia and muscle tissue, improving blood flow and promoting the body’s natural healing processes. Whether you're recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, preparing for peak performance, or enhancing athletic recovery, cupping can significantly reduce muscle stiffness, improve flexibility, and speed up recovery. Clients often report feeling more relaxed, energized, and better able to move after just one session.

At Move and Function, the mission is simple. Reduce pain and increase mobility.
The goal is to help every client move with ease, reduce physical limitations, and achieve optimal performance in their everyday.
